With so many CBD isolate based products on the market, it can be difficult to determine which products are right for you. CBD isolate may be significantly more expensive when you look at the cost per milligram (mg) of CBD.

This blog is the first in a three-part series reviewing price per milligram of CBD isolate based products. We previously reviewed full spectrum CBD tinctures and will review Assistance Programs in an upcoming article.

What is CBD Isolate?

CBD isolate is the isolated CBD cannabinoid from a cannabis plant. At room temperatures, isolate is a white powder. CBD isolate is pure CBD. It can be taken by itself or used to make other products, such as tinctures or capsules.

For those who are primarily interested in CBD and wouldn’t mind avoiding the other compounds and flavors found in hemp, isolate based products offer more flavor options. It allows companies such as ours to create tinctures with little taste or added flavors that wouldn’t mix well with hemp. By focusing on CBD alone, these products can achieve higher concentrations of CBD.

Best Price per Mg of CBD: Popular CBD Isolate

Finding the best price for CBD is a difficult task, especially when buying for the first time. Some companies sell the same amount of CBD for four times the price of others!

To ensure you don’t overpay, we have compiled a list of products with the best price per milligram (mg) of CBD. Feel free to download and share these images with friends and family interested in CBD. If you are part of a group that qualifies for CBD assistance programs (veterans, individuals on long-term disability, individuals with low-income) you can save even more!

Lazarus Naturals offers an industry-leading 60% discount for veterans, low-income households and individuals on long-term disability. Visit our Assistance Program page for more information and to find out if you qualify.

How to Compare CBD Product Prices

The most important number to look for when you’re comparing products is the total milligrams of CBD. This should not be confused with milliliters. Milliliters are used to measure the amount of liquid in a CBD tincture and milligrams measure the amount of CBD in a product. In other words, the size of the tincture says little about the amount of CBD you will be getting.

Please Note: Shipping costs, temporary sale prices and Assistance Program discounts were not included in our assessment.

I want to thank you for offering the program assistance to offset cost. However, I do wish you would include a senior citizen discount as well. I belong to a senior center here and the senior community is very interested in CBD oil, but don’t know a thing about it or where to turn. I’ve been spreading the good news to anyone who is interested in CBD oil. I would love to become an affiliate at some time. I’m already educating and sharing the benefits of CBD oil and Lazarus Naturals. If I had a pamphlet or business card to help these seniors find comfort with CBD oil and (in my opinion, the #1 company to turn to after MUCH research) where to turn for education about CBD oil and your company. These lovely people NEED comfort for a myriad of health issues that really WORKS. I’d love to see seniors receive true comfort from a trusted company that cares about the comfort of the aging. I’m a testament to the benefits of CBD oil. I thought “outside of the pillbox” and discovered the comfort CBD oil brings me!
