Helping Those Who Served

Our fundraiser raised $25,922 for Stop Soldier Suicide! Thank you to our amazing customers who showed their support for Veterans!
This Veterans Day, we are raising awareness for an important issue that has, unfortunately, gotten worse this year: an epidemic of veterans dying by suicide. Did you know nearly 20 veterans die by suicide every day Veterans are at a 50% higher risk of suicide than their peers who have not served. And according to the Associated Press, military suicides may have increased by 20% this year during the COVID pandemic.
Veterans have always been close to our hearts at Lazarus Naturals, which was founded in 2014 with the mission to provide effective and affordable CBD to anyone who needs it. We believe in the power of CBD to improve lives, and we ensure access through a 60% discount for veterans. This year we are on track to help approximately 16,000 veterans afford their CBD, collectively saving them $7 million in 2020.
We also support nonprofit organizations who provide services and resources to Veterans struggling with physical and emotional issues upon returning to civilian life. This Veterans Day, we are raising money for Stop Soldier Suicide to help reach its goal of reducing veteran suicide by 40% in the next ten years.
We’re donating 10% of sales at LazarusNaturals.com between Nov 9–11 to Stop Soldier Suicide, a veteran-founded-and-led organization that helps empower service members, veterans and their families with critical resources and support. Our employees chose this organization to donate to on Veterans Day.
Additionally, we are proud to support DAV (Disabled American Veterans) with our sponsorship of its annual 5K race, being held virtually this year across the country. The DAV 5K is a walk, roll, run, and ride that thanks those who served and raises awareness of the issues ill and injured veterans face every day.
Funds raised through the DAV 5K support DAV’s mission of keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV assists veterans by helping them gain access to the medical, financial and educational benefits they’ve earned along with connecting them to meaningful employment opportunities. All services are provided free of charge, and DAV doesn’t accept any government funding.
