Using hemp grown on our own Lazarus Farms, we render CBD-rich extract from the plant using an ethanol-based process. Then we refine the extract via fractional distillation and crystallization into CBD isolate. All of our CBD tarts are third-party tested for potency, pesticides and heavy metals. The initial taste of these is great, it has a little bit of a after taste that I don't care for. I definitely prefer the tinctures over the fruit tarts, but seems like a solid product.
