The only benefit I see are a large capacity and no spill top. Other than that it’s just not good at all for hiking. Unlike most travel drink bottles, this has no drinking spout that extends from the top. You must stop, and open the lid like turning a jar lid which due to size can only be accomplished with 2 hands. Then drinking from the oversized mouth is unnecessarily difficult as well, frequently having rivulets of your beverage on the chin. The attached “loop” makes it hard as you need to holRead mored it out of the way. Lazarus missed the mark on this one by ,modifying a standard design to make it user un-friendly. It’s sitting in the cupboard where it’ll probably stay for eternity.

    Product Reviewed:

I was so excited to get my new water bottle. To me there are major design flaws: difficult to open and drink from the wide mouth if one is moving, you need to stop. Additionally, you need to use 2 hands and the entire top comes off. The wide mouth also is hard to drink from causing dribbles. It needs a pop up/push down place to sip from like most other sports drink bottles. This won’t really suit my needs. Dissapointed.

This is the best water bottle. It really does have great colors on it. Keeps me hydrated, I drink 3 of these a day so this thing is always with me. Fun note. I used some cold tea/ water infusers in it and lemon and baking soda didn't quite get rid of the smell. You can boil and fill Nalgene bottles with boiling water. This bottle and it's lighter plastic strap held up through my quick dip process and that took care of the smell. Highly recommend this rugged water bottle.

I love this bottle !! It's the perfect size for me to keep up with my daily water intake. I have several so I can rotate them through the day, for my daily protein smoothies, water, and green tea. It really helps with my daily Intermittent Fasting regimen and helps keep me hydrated. I like to use quart size water bottles to help me keep track of my water/hydration intake through the day. I might buy more just because I'm kind of obsessed with them. LOL Great advertising too as sRead moreome folks have asked about the bottle and the logo.

I love this BPA-free bottle, I just wish an optional cover with smaller drink opening were available. I can't hike and drink simultaneously with this cover, so limited usage for me :(
